In these uncertain times with the Covid-19 pandemic & climate crisis we could all do with some extra support. And we all know how good being in nature can make us feel.

Spending time in Nature, and in woodlands in particular has scientifically been proven to be an antidote for stress. It can lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormone & anxiety levels, while at the same time boost the immune system, increase self-esteem and improve mood.

Studies have shown 2 hours a week is the ideal length of time to reap the optimum benefits. Studies in the UK have even shown immersion in Nature translates into more community cohesion and lower crime rates1and can reduce the risk of type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease & premature death.2

And if that’s not enough, woodlands are beautiful spaces to be that are calming and energising. There is always so much to see, hear and smell. Each season offers something different. Whatever the weather the uplifting positive benefits can be felt.

Because Courage Copse is a private woodland whenever we run a well-being session, no other members of the public can come on site, making it a safe place where you can fully relax and reconnect with Nature.

At Courage Copse Creatives we believe in reciprocity – it isn’t just what we can gain from the woodland but also what we can give back. Spending time in Nature becomes a conversation. The woodland must be respected and treated like a friend.
